Supporting procedures in the endoscopy suite, including:
Preparing and stocking procedural rooms
Assisting with GI and specialty procedures
Managing technical instrumentation
Administering and monitoring sedation
Closely monitoring patient safety during procedures
Providing comprehensive pre-procedure care, such as:
Conducting focused patient assessments and intake
Reviewing medical history and medications
Ensuring procedural readiness
Starting IVs and obtaining vital signs
Managing post-procedure recovery, including:
Monitoring recovery and patient stabilization
Coordinating handoffs and clinical communication
Preparing patients for safe discharge
Rotating responsibilities across procedure, prep, and recovery (~50/50 mix) to maintain skill diversity and engagement
