Culture House, located in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Is a dispensary rooted in community, culture, and the belief that cannabis deserves a thoughtful retail experience. We are looking for a dynamic, energetic and results-driven, Dispensary Shift Lead to oversee daily operations within our dispensary. This pivotal role combines leadership, customer service excellence, inventory management, and team supervision to ensure a smooth and compliant workflow. As a Shift Lead, you will motivate and guide staff, manage sales transactions, maintain inventory accuracy, and uphold the highest standards of customer care. Your proactive approach will help foster a positive environment that promotes growth, efficiency, and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Duties
- Supervise daily dispensary operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and legal regulations
- Lead and motivate team members through effective training, coaching, and performance management
- Manage cash handling, POS transactions, and sales processes with accuracy and integrity
- Oversee inventory control, including stock replenishment and merchandising to optimize product availability
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and resolving issues efficiently
- Maintain compliance with safety standards and assist in implementing security protocols
Skills
- Exceptional leadership skills with proven experience in supervising teams within retail or dispensary settings
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with staff and customers across diverse backgrounds; multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Proficiency in managing POS systems such as Dutchie, retail math, pricing strategies, and sales management tools
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks using time management techniques
- Prior Cannabis experience required
- Demonstrated ability to handle administrative responsibilities efficiently while maintaining high customer service standards

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
