The Technical Operations Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing the company's technology operations, software implementation initiatives, IT infrastructure, cloud-based systems, cybersecurity controls, and technical project execution. The position requires advanced knowledge of computer systems, software development methodologies, cloud technologies, network infrastructure, and enterprise technology solutions. The incumbent will apply specialized theoretical and practical knowledge acquired through a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and oversee the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the company's technology infrastructure, software platforms, and enterprise systems.
- Analyze business and technical requirements and develop technology solutions to improve operational efficiency, system reliability, scalability, and security.
- Lead technical projects involving software deployment, cloud migration, systems integration, network administration, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Evaluate, configure, implement, and maintain cloud-based applications, databases, servers, and enterprise technology platforms to support business operations.
- Monitor system performance, identify technical issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to ensure continuous system availability and reliability.
- Develop and implement cybersecurity policies, access controls, vulnerability management procedures, and data protection measures to safeguard company information assets.
- Manage software development and system enhancement initiatives by coordinating technical specifications, testing protocols, deployment schedules, and quality assurance activities.
- Research, evaluate, and recommend emerging technologies, software tools, and infrastructure solutions to support organizational growth and operational efficiency.
- Design and maintain technical documentation, system architecture diagrams, standard operating procedures, disaster recovery plans, and technology governance frameworks.
- Oversee network operations, server administration, cloud resources, and technology service providers to ensure compliance with operational requirements and service level objectives.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to technical personnel, consultants, vendors, and project stakeholders regarding technology implementation and operational best practices.
- Conduct system audits, performance assessments, and technical risk evaluations to ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational requirements.
