Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Busser to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Busser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the dining area is clean, organized, and welcoming for our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the waitstaff by clearing tables, refilling drinks, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the restaurant. Duties
- Clear and reset tables promptly after guests leave to ensure a quick turnaround for new patrons.
- Assist servers by delivering food and beverages to tables as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including floors, tables, and service stations.
- Refill water glasses and provide additional items as requested by guests or servers.
- Support kitchen staff with food handling tasks when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service flow.
- Assist with catering events as required, ensuring all food service standards are met.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor to help create a positive dining experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both guests and team members.
- Experience in the food industry is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is a plus.
- Previous bussing or kitchen experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory.
- A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and organization in the restaurant environment.
