Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher. This role involves providing personalized instruction and support to a second grade student. The ideal candidate will have experience in curriculum development, classroom management, and working with diverse learners, including children and adults.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to individual student needs, utilizing effective curriculum development strategies.
- Utilize learning technology and educational tools to enhance instruction and facilitate interactive learning experiences.
- Provide one-on-one sessions across various subjects, ensuring comprehension and skill mastery.
- Manage classroom or tutoring environments to promote positive behavior, focus, and student engagement through effective classroom management techniques.
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust instructional approaches accordingly.
- Maintain clear communication with student and parents regarding student performance and educational goals.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in teaching, tutoring, or classroom management.
- Strong background in curriculum development, lesson planning, and the use of learning technology tools.
- Experience working with students with special needs or in early childhood education settings is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey concepts and foster positive relationships .
- Childcare experience is a plus .
- Relevant certifications or degrees in education, special education, early childhood education, or related fields are desirable but not mandatory.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
