Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Resident Advisor to provide high-quality care and support to residents. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with individuals with disabilities. This role involves fostering a safe, respectful, and engaging environment for residents while ensuring their individual needs are met with professionalism and empathy.
Duties
- The Senior Resident Advisor will be responsible for all job duties of the Resident Advisor. This will also include assisting the Program Coordinator in maintaining and supervision of the Community Homes Program to assure the compliance with 6400 regulations.
- Reports to the Program Director of Community Living Arrangement.
- Sixty percent (60%) of the workweek at the residential site, establishing a safe and friendly home environment for the consumers we serve, including fostering an atmosphere of individual choice.
- Responsible for the knowledge of all consumer ISP's, Behavioral Plans, SEEP, and personal goals.
- Complete weekly schedule for staffing, ensuring ratios are upheld and licensing regulations met.
- Assist in staffing needs as they arise (call outs, no show, etc.).
- Aid Program Coordinator and Program Director in creating monthly recreation calendars for resident outings.
- Schedule and accompany residents to medical appointments, completing necessary appointments as defined by 6400 regulations, ensuring paperwork and follow up appointments are completed as needed. Serves as contact person for health care team members of residents.
- Track, coordinate, complete and ensure compliance with Health Risk Screening Tool (HRST) protocol.
- Responsible to complete on-boarding, training and site orientation for new staff.
- Complete weekly safety checks int he homes, vehicles and exterior of the building.
- Monitor food, household shopping and collection of documentation and receipts.
- Assist with on-call coverage on the weekdays and rotate coverage on the weekends.
- Promotes activities scheduled on weekly calendar provided by Program Coordinator.
- Attends consumer/staff meetings and trainings.
- Monitors CLA logs and data charts at site.
- Other duties as assigned by Program Director.
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift/push/pull up to 15 pounds
- Ability to stand/sit for extended periods of time.
- Occasional stairs, bending, reaching.
- Fine motor skills.
- Visual acuity.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Experience working with the IDD population
- Strong clerical background
- Great organizational skills
- Knowledge of 6400 regulations
- Licensed driver with a clear record
Pay: $18.87 per hour
