We are seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic Part-Time Floating Preschool Teacher/Van Driver to join our faith-based preschool team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, teamwork, and supporting children in a loving Christian environment.
Responsibilities
- Float between classrooms to provide teacher support as needed.
- Assist with classroom activities, supervision, and daily routines for children ages 2–5.
- Help maintain a safe, clean, organized, and nurturing classroom environment.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
- Safely transport children to and from local elementary schools and field trips using the preschool van.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Follow all licensing regulations, safety procedures, and school policies.
- Model Christian values through kindness, patience, respect, and compassion.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 Child Development (ECE) units required.
- Clean driving record required.
- Valid California driver's license.
- Previous preschool experience preferred.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Must pass DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance, health screening, and TB test.
- Dependable, flexible, organized, and a positive team player.
- Comfortable working in a Christian, faith-based environment.
Schedule
- Part-Time
- Monday–Friday
- Hours may vary based on classroom and transportation needs.
