Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Tableau Architect to lead a large-scale enterprise migration involving 600+ Tableau dashboards from SQL Server to Microsoft Fabric. The ideal candidate should have strong Tableau architecture expertise, hands-on Microsoft Fabric implementation experience, and knowledge of Tableau MCP and SQL Server MCP for AI-driven migration and discovery automation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead discovery and assessment of 600+ Tableau dashboards
Design Tableau-to-Microsoft Fabric migration architecture
Build and optimize Microsoft Fabric Semantic Models
Perform data lineage and dependency analysis
Analyze Tableau dashboards, SQL queries, calculated fields, and LOD expressions
Create migration strategies, wave planning, and risk assessments
Utilize Tableau MCP and SQL Server MCP for automated metadata extraction
Design authentication, security, and connectivity strategies
Optimize dashboard performance and semantic model architecture
Collaborate with business, data engineering, and BI teams
