Job Title: Groundskeeper / RV Park Maintenance Attendant
Job Summary: The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness, appearance, safety, and functionality of the RV park, including landscaped areas, common grounds, restrooms, laundry facilities, and other guest amenities. This position ensures a welcoming environment for residents and visitors through routine maintenance, cleaning, and inspections.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain RV park grounds, including mowing, trimming, edging, weeding, and watering landscaped areas.
- Clean and sanitize restroom facilities, including toilets, sinks, showers, floors, mirrors, and fixtures.
- Clean and maintain laundry rooms, including washers, dryers, folding areas, floors, and common surfaces.
- Empty trash receptacles throughout the property and dispose of waste properly.
- Monitor and restock restroom and laundry supplies such as paper products, soap, and cleaning materials.
- Perform routine inspections of park grounds, restrooms, laundry rooms, and common areas to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
- Assist with minor repairs, including plumbing, lighting, painting, and facility upkeep.
- Clean RV sites, picnic areas, sidewalks, and other guest-use facilities.
- Report equipment malfunctions, property damage, and safety concerns to management.
- Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and pressure washers.
- Assist with guest requests and provide courteous customer service when needed.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous landscaping or grounds maintenance experience preferred.
- Knowledge of lawn care, plant maintenance, and irrigation systems.
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and effectively.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.
- Valid driver's license may be required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks.
- Ability to work in hot, cold, wet, or dusty conditions.
