Job Summary
This a high visibility role to drive new product introduction, and continuous improvement. This position will be instrumental to ensure products meet regulatory and quality standards while optimizing manufacturing processes which support growth.
Implement CPI, continually drive performance optimization, quality and cost efficiency.
Work independently and collaboratively with Engineering Design Team, QA, Production, and Suppliers.
Drive successful outcomes.
Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for maximum efficiency, quality, scalability and cost.
Ownership of assembly processes, responsibility for product models.
Looking for a great communicator, with a depth of technical expertise to engage with stakeholders, e.g. design team, quality, suppliers, production, shareholders to align on goals and drive improvement consistent with those goals.
Requirements:
Broad technical expertise in mechanical engineering and manufacturing experience to design, develop and optimize manufacturing processes.
Highly effective communicator to be point of contact with OEM customers.
Ability to take front end handoff from engineering leads.
Ability to balance both new product development and sustaining engineering of existing products concurrently.
Totally comfortable with cradle to grave cycle of NPD.
Practical experience on a manufacturing floor, working with assembly employees, training and supporting production.
Proven project management experience with cross functional teams on various technical products. Lead design engineer or team leader experience a plus.
BSME, or related degree required.
Pay: $120,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
