We're looking for an experienced Massachusetts Licensed Journeyman Electrician who enjoys troubleshooting, helping homeowners, and delivering high-quality workmanship. About the Position
As a Residential Service Technician, you are the face of Castle Electric. Every day, you'll work directly with homeowners to diagnose electrical issues, recommend solutions, and perform safe, code-compliant installations and repairs.

When you leave a customer's home, your goal is simple:
- Complete the work correctly the first time.
- Leave the home cleaner than you found it.
- Deliver an experience that earns lifelong customers and enthusiastic referrals.
What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot and diagnose residential electrical issues.
- Perform repairs, installations, panel replacements, service upgrades, lighting installations, EV charger installations, surge protection, generators, and other residential electrical work.
- Explain electrical issues and repair options in a professional, easy-to-understand manner.
- Present multiple solutions that fit the customer's needs and budget.
- Complete digital estimates, invoices, and job documentation using ServiceTitan.
- Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle.
- Follow company safety standards and NEC requirements.
- Work closely with dispatch and office staff to provide an outstanding customer experience.
- Mentor apprentices when appropriate.
- Continue developing both technical and customer service skills.

QualificationsRequired
- Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician License
- 5–10+ years of residential electrical experience
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
Preferred
- Experience using ServiceTitan
- Experience with residential service work
- Experience with generators, service upgrades, panel replacements, EV chargers, surge protection, and smart home devices
- Ability to mentor apprentices
- Familiarity with financing options and presenting repair or upgrade solutions

Compensation
$35.00–$95.00 per hour
Compensation is based on experience, productivity, and performance. Top performers have the opportunity to earn significantly more through bonuses, commissions, and overtime.
