Compass Veterinary Neurology and Imaging (CVNI) is a privately-owned neurology, neurosurgery and imaging practice comprised of a team of veterinary professionals located in Annapolis, Maryland. Equipped with advanced diagnostic imaging, CVNI is able to provide timely surgical or non-surgical intervention for even the most challenging neurology cases. This position is intended to not only support both Board Certified Neurologists but also the rest of the clinical team.
Specific duties include but are not limited to the following:
● Work compassionately with clients in various emotional states
● Answer and triage phone calls from clients and referring veterinarians
● Act as a liaison between clients and doctors
● Coordinate communication between veterinarians, technicians, and clients
● Review, respond, and disseminate emails appropriately
● Check in and check out clients
● Obtain deposits and process payments
● Review estimates with clients in person and over the phone
● Process internal and external prescription refill requests
● Schedule a variety of appointments including; initial consultations, recheck exams, surgery, imaging, and discharges according to our hospital’s schedule availability
● Process CT requests from inside and outside the Annapolis location
● Facilitate records requests to and from other hospitals and specialty practices
● Create sympathy cards and record in donation log
● Process Consult and Transfer paperwork from other services within CVRC
● Communicate effectively with all CVNI and CVRC team members
● All other duties as assigned
The PCC position reports directly to the Practice Manager. The schedule for this position is a minimum of 35 hours per week, Monday- Friday alternating opening/closing shifts. Full time employees are eligible for company paid benefits after successful completion of their 90 day probationary period. This position is entitled to a 90 day review and yearly performance evaluations.
