Shift Supervisor- Event Center
Cultural & Event Center, Near Downtown Houston$20.50 per hour
United Protective Services is hiring a professional Security Shift Supervisor for a high-profile Cultural and event center near Downtown Houston. This position is ideal for someone who can lead by example, adapt to changing operational needs, and work closely with a security team in a customer service-focused environment.
The Shift Supervisor will be expected to work in multiple security functions, including patrol, control room operations, and gate access control, while assisting with oversight of daily operations and officer performance.

Supervise security operations during assigned shift

Support and work alongside a team of 3+ officers, depending on site activity and events

Conduct interior and exterior patrols

Monitor and assist with control room operations

Perform gate access control and visitor management duties

Operate a golf cart while conducting patrols across the property

Ensure officers follow post orders and procedures

Complete reports and communicate operational concerns to management

Adapt to procedural and operational changes as site needs evolve

Provide professional customer service to visitors, staff, and guests

Previous security or supervisory experience preferred

Strong communication and leadership skills

Ability to multitask and work in multiple security positions

Reliable attendance and professional appearance required

Comfortable working in a team-oriented environment

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Valid Driver's License required due to insurance requirements for operating a golf cart on the property

Must be able to pass background screening and meet licensing requirements
