We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sushi Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate has experience preparing sushi, sashimi, and Japanese dishes with precision, consistency, and creativity. We value attention to detail, cleanliness, professionalism, and a strong sense of hospitality.

Responsibilities
- Prepare sushi, sashimi, nigiri, rolls, and specialty Japanese dishes
- Ensure freshness and quality of all fish and ingredients
- Maintain clean and organized workstations following food safety standards
- Assist with inventory, prep work, and daily kitchen operations
- Work efficiently during busy service hours while maintaining presentation standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
- Contribute ideas for seasonal specials and menu development
- Maintain consistency in taste, plating, and guest experience
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Sushi Chef or Sushi Cook preferred
- Knowledge of fish handling, knife skills, and sushi rice preparation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Food Handler Certification preferred
