American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an Acute Care Hospital setting requiring at least 1 year of experience and Epic charting proficiency.

Acute care hospital setting within the PT department

Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

13-week assignment length

Candidates will float within scope of practice as needed

Uses Epic for charting

Minimum 1 year of acute care physical therapy experience required

Active VA or compact state PT license required in hand at time of consideration; license required if applicable

Epic charting experience required

BSN preferred

2 professional references required

Must submit to background check review

Local candidates accepted at the same base rate with no radius restrictions

Both travelers and permanent staff must be separated from employment for one year before being eligible to return as a traveler

Facility maintains a natural nail policy

Drug and tobacco free workplace, with no smoking allowed on campus

Modules are assigned during orientation via the VCU Learning Exchange and must be completed by the Friday of orientation week

RTO requests must be submitted at time of consideration and are subject to manager approval; no time off granted during the first week of the assignment

Candidates should not work over 40 hours per week unless approved by the unit manager
