Solid Form designs, fabricates, delivers and installs custom architectural metals features. We are looking for a Project Manager to join our growing team. Project Managers at Solid Form oversee a broad range of custom fabricated architectural metal projects. From structural steel to design and craft intensive ornamental metals, each project is unique and one of a kind. PMs are partnership builders between our team, general contractors, architects, vendors, and subcontractors. A strong candidate can be creative in their ability to think beyond standard solutions and solve problems. Leadership skills are essential in facilitating workflow between departments. The right-fit Solid Form team member seeks out challenges and enjoys the process of creating and problem solving to deliver a final product that embodies our mission of INGENUITY.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficiency interpreting architectural plan sets and specifications
- A broad knowledge of metal fabrication in architectural applications
- Ability to manage project budgets and track change orders
- Experience in the construction industry and metal fabrication
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with internal and external audiences
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to organize and lead cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in project management concepts and tools
- Strong ability to build partnerships
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage multiple projects while ensuring timeline, budget and quality expectations are met
- Act as main point of communication for customers throughout the fabrication and installation process
- Approve estimates and engineering drawings to ensure drawings are reflective of client’s objectives as well as best industry practices
- Work within the ERP system to communicate the production forecast to team members and customers
- Oversee all project documentation
- Travel to the job site when necessary to verify site conditions and coordinate installs
- Ensure that all internal stakeholders are informed about progress on project timelines, milestones, changes and roadblocks
- Organize and facilitate all necessary project and team meetings
- Gain expert-level knowledge of projects, including site conditions and ensures projects’ alignment with intersecting trades
- Analyze project bid variances and work to improve estimating standards
- Complete project close-out summaries and communicate with team

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
