BrightStar Care is hiring an caregiver for a one-on-one client case in Wilsonville, OR 97266.
Caregiver Needed for Veteran Client
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable caregiver to provide weekday in-home care for a veteran client. The ideal candidate is patient, personable, and enjoys engaging in meaningful conversation and companionship.
Applicants must be comfortable working in a home with dogs and be able to follow written instructions for meal preparation. The client is hard of hearing, so the caregiver must be able to communicate clearly, speak at an appropriate volume, and take the time to ensure effective communication.

Schedule
- Ongoing shifts available Monday through Friday from 10 AM – 1 PM (Must be able to work the entire schedule)
- Additional flexible shifts may be available

Job Responsibilities
- Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), including ambulation, dressing, bathing/showering, grooming, and toileting
- Providing incontinence care
- Offering companionship and engaging in meaningful conversation
- Provide ambulatory support & encourage use of assistive devices
- Help with physical therapy exercises
- Preparing meals by following a detailed instructional guide
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience
- Experience providing personal care and assistance with ADLs
- Reliable transportation and dependable vehicle
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Authorized to work in the United States
