Responsibilities
- Assist senior technicians in diagnosing vehicle issues using basic tools and equipment
- Support the repair of mechanical, electrical, and brake systems under supervision
- Conduct vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and ensure safety standards are met
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols
- Document repair procedures and parts used accurately in service records
- Learn and follow manufacturer specifications and repair procedures to ensure quality workmanship
- Deliver quality workmanship that exceeds customer expectations
Experience
- Previous 1-3 years experience working in an automotive repair shop or dealership environment.
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components
- Ability to use hand tools and diagnostic equipment effectively
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to learning new skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
