Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Crew Lead($28-35/hr) to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will oversee the installation or repair of various building components, leading a crew of skilled workers, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. We build and repair fences of all varieties, experience preferred but not necessary. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your leadership skills and technical knowledge in a fast-paced construction setting. Responsibilities
- Lead or coordinate installation/repair crews to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects involving chain link fences, vinyl fences, aluminum or steel ornamental fences, and wood fences.
- Report to warehouse and have transport to and from job site
- Operate heavy equipment and power tools safely to assist with completion of installation or repair work contracted.
- Manage on-site safety protocols, conduct regular safety inspections, and enforce compliance with OSHA standards to maintain a secure work environment.
- Coordinate with project managers to schedule work phases, order materials, address customer concerns, and troubleshoot on-site issues promptly.
- Train team members on proper techniques and upholding the highest standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction site roles is preferred but not w necessity.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high safety standards or a strong ability to collaborate with teams.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and construction machinery.
- Physical capability for heavy lifting, climbing ladders/scaffolding, and working in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate tasks across multiple jobs.
