Brazos Valley Equine Hospitals, Navasota PLLC has an immediate opening on our team for a motivated individual to help us care for horses. We are a premier group of equine practices with multiple locations in Texas. We are a busy, interactive practice with over 70+ team members and we believe in our ability to help people through the care of horses. If you have a desire to help improve the lives of horse owners and help us to grow our business, we want to talk to you. We are seeking a team player to work with a full-time surgeon and anesthesia technician. Horse experience is required.
Applicants must be able to maintain routine physical activity, possess a steady personality, be able to build relationships with our clients, and have the ability to manage their time. Computer skills are a requirement. This is a busy and interactive position that will require standing for long periods of time.
Duties include (but are not limited to)
- Patient restraint
- Unload surgery drop offs
- Prepare room for surgery
- Prepare patients for surgery
- Prep surgery site and assist surgeon during surgery
- Assist in anesthetizing horses and placing on surgery table
- Assist with intraoperative radiographs
- Cleaning and stocking
- Data entry
This position is supported by a practice manager, receptionists, technicians, laboratory and pharmacy manager along with part time office and technical staff. This position will work in the Navasota office. Hours are 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM five days a week. We offer medical and retirement benefits.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
