Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas, ensuring consistency in flavor, presentation, and quality.
- Follow established recipes and menu specifications while adding your culinary flair.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, and food preparation tools.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by adhering to food safety procedures and sanitizing protocols.
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as slicing, dicing, braising, poaching, grilling, and food handling to support high-volume production.
- Manage ingredient inventory and assist with menu planning to ensure freshness and availability of supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
Requirements
- Proven experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable.
- Strong background in food industry roles such as restaurant or catering experience with a focus on culinary excellence.
- Demonstrated skills in food preparation techniques including braising, poaching, grilling, and knife skills.
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Experience with high-volume production environments and meal preparation for large groups or events.
- Familiarity with menu planning and food production processes within fine dining or casual restaurant settings.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure while serving guests with professionalism.
