We are a busy, three doctor, small animal hospital looking for a Veterinary Technician Assistant / Kennel Person.
Lakeside Pet Hospital is looking for an outgoing, motivated, self-driven, multi-tasking individual to fill the position of Tech Assistant / Kennel Person to join our team. The position is Full Time. Candidate must possess excellent communication skills, be able to multi-task, must have reliable attendance, punctuality, and work well on a team that is dedicated to providing the best of care to both the patients and clients. The job includes the responsibilities of cleaning exam rooms and kennels, laundry, re-stocking supplies throughout the hospital and assisting technicians and veterinarians. Our team is cross trained and are involved in patient care, assisting doctors and technicians in radiology, restraint, blood and urine collection, laboratory testing and able to lift 40 pounds. Opportunity for upward mobility after mastery of this position, for candidate who is interested in long term career in Veterinary Medicine. Pay is very competitive.
