Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Social Media Content Creator to document the day-to-day life of an athlete playing Division I basketball.
This is an execution-focused role. You are not responsible for creating content ideas, scripting, or deciding what to film. Our producers and account managers handle the creative direction, shot lists, and feedback. Your job is to consistently capture high-quality footage, edit content to our brand standards, and make revisions until each piece is approved.
Responsibilities
- Follow producers' shooting plans and capture all requested footage.
- Film practices, workouts, games (when permitted), travel, training, lifestyle, behind-the-scenes moments, and other scheduled activities.
- Maintain professional camera operation with clean framing, focus, exposure, and audio.
- Organize, back up, and manage all footage after each shoot.
- Edit long-form YouTube videos and short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other social platforms.
- Deliver edits on schedule while maintaining consistent quality.
- Implement revision notes from producers and account managers promptly and accurately.
- Export and deliver files in the required formats.
- Maintain camera gear, batteries, memory cards, and other production equipment.
- Communicate schedule updates and production needs with the team.
Qualifications
- Experience operating professional cameras and filming fast-paced environments.
- Strong editing skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar software.
- Ability to capture cinematic and documentary-style footage.
- Excellent organization and file management.
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel when needed.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and around athletic schedules.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to take direction well.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced sports and content production environment.

We need someone who can consistently show up, capture the moments we're looking for, produce polished edits, and quickly address feedback from producers until every video is ready to publish.

Pay: $13.01 - $15.00 per hour
