Job Summary
Looking for a dependable Cook Assistant to support daily kitchen operations. you'll work directly with me to prep ingredients, assist with cooking, and maintain a clean, efficient workspace.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with meal prep and cooking
- wash, chop, portion ingredients
- maintain cleanliness and food safety standards
- assist with organizing
- help on site at events when needed
- bring ideas we welcome your input
Requirements:
- Previous kitchen/cooking experience preffered
- knowledge of basic food safety
- reliable transportation
- able to lift 25lb and stand for periods of time
Who you are:
- Bilingual - English/Spanish
- reliable and on time- we count with each other
- you love being on the kitchen and you can clean as you go
- previous cooking/kitchen/catering experiance is a plus
- positive attitude and team player
- food handler is a plus (we can help you get it)
- someone that wants to grow in to a leadership role
Schedule and pay:
- approx 30 hours per week
- core days: Wednesday - Saturday ( schedule still being finalized, some flexibility)
- pay $10- 12/ depending on experience
- opportunity for more hours + grow as we grow
