DEAN OF STUDENTS

DESCRIPTION: The Dean of Students is a full-time position reporting directly to the Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs. As a member of the Student Affairs Leadership Team, the Dean of Students partners with students, faculty, and staff to create a district-wide climate that champions inclusion; supports educational development and accountability; provides guidance regarding student conflict resolution; establishes strong connections between curricular and co-curricular offerings of each campus; and oversees services including but not limited to mental health, compliance, retention, and student life.
QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree from an accredited university or documented progress toward a Master's degree. Work experience may be substituted for education. Applicants should have excellent oral and written communication skills; the ability to make sound decisions in accordance with IECC policy, rules, and regulations; and the ability to work efficiently and collegially with the administration, faculty, staff, students, and the community across a multi-campus District.
WAGES: Based upon $75,000 - $95,000, commensurate with education and experience. Benefits include, but are not limited to: medical, dental, and life insurance; paid sick leave, and personal days, and participation in State Universities Retirement System.
