Mauch Chunk Trust Company is seeking a motivated individual to serve as Assistant Branch Manager at our North Street Location located at 1111 North Street Jim Thorpe, PA 18229
Reports to: Branch: Community Branch Manager
Supervises: Personal Bankers
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primary focus is on supervising and directing the day-to-day operations of the branch to support the overall revenue goals by effectively and efficiently adhering to all policies and procedures while meeting sales goals and service standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Is an active Personal Banker in the Branch; transacts customer sales and service duties and is responsible for inside sales activities to reach assigned individual and team goals.

Manage all operational and administrative matters to support profitable operations and attainment of all branch sales/ revenue goals in accordance with bank policy and procedures.

Maintain and control branch cash in accordance with bank policies including vault cash balance, PB overage/shortage, ATM, cash dispenser and cash drawers.

Completes staff work schedule, assigns daily tasks, schedules breaks, time off, etc.

Provide daily/monthly reporting of operational information for reconciling, balancing, and updating of files; ensure all bank records are retained as scheduled/required.

Ensure proper controls are maintained over all aspects of branch operations; conducts audits of all management control and security items in accordance with bank policy and procedure.

Comply with all corporate policies, procedures and federal regulations including BSA/AML and OFAC.

Manage ordering supplies.

Provide for the proper security, maintenance, and cleanliness of the office; supervise the opening and closing of the building and vault; secure and account for negotiable papers.

Act as the branch systems specialist in problem solving issues with teller terminals and balancing and represents the branch as a systems specialist by keeping abreast of all software changes to platform and teller terminals.

Manage branch overdraft accounts according to policy.

Assist Community Branch Manager in the interviewing, selecting, training and reviewing of employees.

Supervises and coach's personal bankers with operational responsibilities and duties and documents the interactions to support the personal banker's development and growth.

Manages all aspects of branch sales, service and operations in the absence of the Branch Manager.

Performs duties independently without the need for continuous supervision.

Must be willing to participate in exchange/ staff coverage in other branch locations as needed.

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

1-3 years demonstrated sales, and bank experience required

Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook

Knowledge of Federal, State and Local regulations

Good communications skills and ability to communicate at all levels both internal and external

Thorough knowledge and understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements

Comprehensive knowledge of Bank's products and services

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop working relationships within the department and other Bank locations.

Knowledge of consumer lending and credit processes preferred
Physical/Mental Requirements:
Job functions are performed in an office environment. Incumbent operates various types of office equipment, secures supplies and files, communicates with customers and/or other employees and is frequently required to move about the branch and/or office location. Physical demands involve any or all of the following: digital dexterity and eye/hand coordination in the operation of office equipment; light to moderate lifting and carrying of supplies, files, etc.; the ability to speak to and to hear customers and/or other employees on the telephone and in person; body and motor skills sufficient to enable the incumbent to move from one office location to another; must be capable of learning to use complex data processing equipment and performing moderate to complex mathematical calculations; must be able to work extended hours as needed.
