Job Title: Teradata Architect
Location: Plano, TX (Hybrid)
Experience
oAt least 8 years of Experience in Teradata solutions
oStrong background in Enterprise Data Warehouse EDW concepts dimensional modeling and performance tuning
Technical Expertise
oProficiency in Teradata tools and utilities TPT BTEQ FastLoad MultiLoad
oFamiliarity with Teradata Vantage features like QueryGrid NOS and ClearScape Analytics
oHandson coding experience in Python or similar scripting languages
Certifications
oTeradata Certified Professional preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with cloud platforms AWS Azure GCP and hybrid architectures
Knowledge of big data technologies Hadoop Spark and data governance frameworks
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design Architecture
oLead the design and architecture of enterprise data warehouse solutions using Teradata
oDevelop integration strategies and performance optimization techniques
oEnsure solutions comply with enterprise architecture standards and best practices
oDevelop reusable Python scripts for automation data transformation and validation
Platform Strategy Governance
oEvaluate Teradata platform features and create technology roadmaps
oEstablish platform standards integration patterns and governance frameworks
oPerform Proof of Concept POC for new capabilities and onboard pilot projects
Technical Leadership
oProvide guidance on Teradata utilities TPT BTEQ FastLoad MultiLoad TPump
oOptimize queries indexing and workload management for high performance
oCollaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless integration
Data Management
oOversee ETLELT processes and data migration strategies
oEnsure data quality security and compliance with regulatory requirements
oImplement best practices for data lifecycle management and metadata governance
Skills

Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, performance and internal equity.

Benefits
Compensation range: $95,000.00 to $125,000.00 per year
