Assistant Operations Manager - Amazon DSP

Key Responsibilities:
Operations Oversight:
- Ensure a flawless daily operational routine.
- Draft a comprehensive weekly schedule to guarantee full route coverage.
- Confirm daily vehicle availability aligns with our route commitments.
- Forge strong collaborations with Amazon to realize our business objectives.
- Participate in team gatherings to recognize successes, pinpoint inefficiencies, and address challenges.
- Maintain consistent communication with dispatchers and delivery associates during shifts to preempt obstacles and handle emergencies.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Monitor overtime, ensuring drivers and dispatch never exceed 20 hours weekly.
- Uphold a driver roster that's double the size of our Okami commitments.
- Seamlessly integrate new drivers and ensure they're set up for success from day one.
- Instill a culture of excellence and continuous development within the team.
- Performance Metrics & Reporting:
- Continuously monitor key performance indicators.
- Harness insights from data to elevate operational efficiency and service standards.
Additional Duties:
- Take on diverse roles customary to positions like yours, adapting to evolving needs and challenges.
Qualifications:
- Experience in Amazon Operations Management or a proven track record managing logistics for top-tier delivery companies.
- Background as a Delivery Driver.
- Demonstrated leadership in high-pressure environments.
- Stellar communication skills, both oral and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Android devices.
- Valid driver's license, with a minimum age requirement of 21.
