We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Inpatient to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in physiotherapy, with experience in inpatient hospital settings, acute care, and rehabilitation. This role involves developing personalized care plans, delivering expert patient care, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to promote optimal recovery and functional independence for patients across various age groups and medical conditions.

Shift: Days Shifts
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical abilities, medical history, and current condition to inform treatment plans.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans focused on restoring mobility, strength, and function in inpatient settings.
- Provide evidence-based physiotherapy interventions including trigger point therapy, orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and post-surgical rehabilitation.
- Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust treatment strategies accordingly to ensure effective outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Assist with discharge planning by preparing patients for transition to home or community care environments.
- Document all patient interactions accurately within electronic medical record (EMR) systems while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Educate patients and their families on exercises, injury prevention, and ongoing self-care techniques to support recovery beyond hospitalization.
Requirements
- Valid licensure or certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in the respective jurisdiction.
- Proven experience working in inpatient hospital environments with exposure to acute care and rehabilitation services.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and physiotherapy techniques.
- Experience in discharge planning and coordinating care for diverse patient populations including geriatrics and pediatrics.
- Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and patient record management.
- Demonstrated ability to develop effective care plans tailored to individual needs within a multidisciplinary team setting.
- Home health or outpatient clinic experience is advantageous but not mandatory; a background in hospital-based physiotherapy is essential.

Pay: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour
