Duties
- Assist with the setup, operation, and maintenance of industrial equipment to support daily workflows
- Perform heavy lifting tasks safely to move materials, supplies, or equipment as needed
- Support the handling and organization of inventory, ensuring proper storage and retrieval
- Collaborate with team members to execute operational procedures efficiently and accurately
- Maintain safety standards by adhering to protocols during equipment use and heavy lifting activities
- Support funeral directing activities by preparing necessary materials and assisting with logistical arrangements (if applicable)
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns
Experience
- Mechanical knowledge or experience working with industrial equipment is highly preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively in accordance with safety guidelines
- Prior experience in a hands-on operational role or industrial environment is advantageous
- Knowledge of funeral directing processes is a plus but not required; training will be provided if needed
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to work in demanding environments for extended periods
