Position Overview -
The Home Improvement Project Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day progress of residential exterior home improvement projects. This position will serve as the primary point of contact between the company, homeowners, subcontracted crews, suppliers, and internal team members.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, construction knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple projects at different stages while ensuring projects are completed on time, within expectations, and to Exterior Pros' quality standards.
Responsibilities -
- Manage residential exterior remodeling projects from scheduling through final completion.
- Coordinate subcontracted crews for roofing, siding, gutters, soffit/fascia, and other exterior home improvement projects.
- Communicate project schedules and expectations with homeowners, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal team members.
- Monitor job progress and ensure subcontracted crews are completing work according to company standards, project specifications, and timelines.
- Conduct jobsite visits and inspections throughout the project to monitor quality and progress.
- Identify and address project issues, delays, material concerns, or workmanship problems in a timely manner.
- Coordinate materials, deliveries, and jobsite readiness to ensure crews have what they need to complete projects efficiently.
- Communicate project updates and changes to the appropriate team members.
- Maintain accurate project records, schedules, photos, and documentation.
- Work closely with the sales and office teams to ensure a smooth transition from the sale of the project to production and completion.
- Help resolve homeowner concerns and provide professional customer service throughout the project.
- Hold subcontracted crews accountable for quality, professionalism, cleanliness, and adherence to project timelines.
- Ensure jobsites are left clean, safe, and properly completed.
- Assist with warranty and service-related issues as needed.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing deadlines and urgent issues.
- Follow company safety procedures and ensure subcontractors follow applicable safety requirements.
- Perform other construction, project management, and technology/computer-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications -
- Previous experience in residential construction, remodeling, roofing, siding, or a related home improvement industry preferred.
- Experience managing subcontractors or construction crews strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of residential construction processes and jobsite operations.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to identify quality issues and ensure work is completed correctly.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team.
- Proficient with smartphones, computers, email, and basic project management software.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to travel to various residential jobsites throughout the service area.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
