Duties
- Provide professional hair styling services, including cuts, blowouts, color, hair extensions and special occasion styles that align with client preferences and current trends
- Perform hair coloring techniques utilizing color theory principles for vibrant, natural or subtle results.
- Use tracking tools to monitor and maintain KPI's (key performance indicators) such as AST (average service ticket), ART (average retail ticket), client counts, rebooking and retention
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
- Offer expert advice on hair care products and retail items through upselling strategies to maximize sales opportunities
- Assist with front desk responsibilities, including greeting clients, managing appointments, and handling inquiries
Qualifications
- Valid cosmetology or barbering license with comprehensive knowledge of hair styling, coloring, and grooming techniques
- Experience working with color correction and hair extensions is desirable
- Strong communication skills to effectively connect with guests and team members
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices within a salon setting
- Ability to mentor junior staff members and foster a collaborative team environment
- Demonstrated retail skills for upselling products confidently while maintaining excellent customer service

Pay: $23.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
