Starting Pay – $28.00-$32.00/hour, based on experience

Required Experience – Minimum of 3 years of CNC machining experience required
As a CNC Machinist, you will work under minimal supervision to set up and operate CNC and manual machining equipment to manufacture tooling, fixtures, jigs, and precision components. This position is responsible for ensuring parts meet quality specifications through accurate measurement and inspection while maintaining equipment, inventory, and a clean, safe machine shop environment.

Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes using CAM programs

Operate manual machining equipment including mills, lathes, and surface grinders

Manufacture tooling, jigs, fixtures, and precision-machined components

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and engineering specifications

Measure and inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring equipment

Verify parts meet required tolerances and quality standards
-
Select and properly utilize cutting tools, fixtures, and tooling
-
Perform routine machine cleaning and basic equipment maintenance
-
Maintain material inventory using the AXERP system
-
Accept conforming parts and identify, reject, or repair non-conforming parts as needed

Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area
-
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, problem-solving, and team projects

Perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum of 3 years of CNC machining experience

Experience operating both CNC and manual machining equipment

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

Strong knowledge of precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, and gauges

Ability to maintain close tolerances and produce high-quality work

Experience with CAM programming and machining tooling preferred

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to workplace safety

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday

Frequent use of hand tools, measuring instruments, and machining equipment

Ability to lift and move materials and tooling as needed

Exposure to machinery, metal chips, cutting fluids, noise, and industrial manufacturing conditions

Must maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment

Ability to safely operate machining equipment while following all company safety procedures
