PRIMARY FUNCTION
Apply accounting principles to provide company management detailed financial data required to make effective managerial decisions.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Analyze financial data and prepare appropriate reports.

Provide financial information to management to be used in management decision making.

Assist in management of accounting systems and ERP software (integration with Accounting).

Support other departments by providing financial analysis as necessary.
-
Prepare month-end closing process, prepare monthly journal entries.
-
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Prepare monthly journal entries
-
Month-end and year-end closings, including managing files
-
Maintain GL accounts, including posting journal entries, completing account reconciliations, and providing variance analysis.

Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
-
Lease management and reporting.
-
Support annual audit activities
-
Treasury functions including wire transfers, bank reconciliations, banking relationship, and cash projections.

Government processing including sales and use tax filing, government survey completion, and property tax returns
-
Maintaining Chart of Accounts and FI within SAP
-
Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
-
Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
-
2 years’ experience in accounting; experience in manufacturing accounting a plus.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite specifically Excel.

Strong grasp of GAAP accounting and general accounting concepts.
