Associate Attorney – Workers' Compensation (No Experience Necessary)
Location: Practice all over Florida. Office based in Miramar, FL.
Position Type: Full-Time Independent Contractor (1099)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Compensation & Work Arrangement
- Independent Contractor (1099) position
- Full-time schedule
- Compensation includes a base salary of $60,000, plus a percentage of fees secured
- Remote work opportunities will be available and will be discussed on an individual applicant basis
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual preferred, but not required. Frequently encountered languages are: Spanish, Haitian Creole, Russian, Portuguese, and Polish.
No Experience Necessary- Experience is a plus, but not a requirement for this position
Responsibilities
- Prepare legal pleadings and documents, including motions, subpoenas, notices, hearing notices, and requests for production
- Manage and track litigation deadlines
- Legal research and effective writing
- Prepare files and reviewing materials for appointments, depositions, mediations, and Final Hearings
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, judges, and court personnel
- Maintain accurate case documentation
- Handle a caseload in a fast-paced environment
- Assist with case strategy and ongoing claim management
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Florida Bar member in good standing, or awaiting Florida Bar admission
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- samples to be requested
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to handle a high-volume workload efficiently
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and commitment to client service
