The Whale Harbor Group is seeking a motivated, energetic, and hands-on Assistant Manager to help lead our growing restaurant operations in beautiful Islamorada, Florida.

Responsibilities
- Assist in leading daily Front of House and Back of House operations.
- Deliver exceptional guest service and ensure memorable dining experiences.
- Coach, train, and develop team members while promoting a positive culture.
- Assist with scheduling and labor management to meet productivity goals.
- Monitor food quality, cleanliness, safety, and service standards.
- Help control food, beverage, and labor costs.
- Support inventory, ordering, and receiving procedures.
- Handle guest concerns professionally and resolve issues quickly.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health department regulations, and safety standards.
- Lead by example through professionalism, urgency, accountability, and integrity.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of restaurant management or supervisory experience.
- High-volume, full-service restaurant experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to motivate and develop employees.
- Experience with restaurant POS systems (Toast experience is a plus).
- Knowledge of labor management, scheduling, and inventory control.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
