Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior technicians with panel replacement, straightening, and alignment of frames and body panels
- Prep surfaces by sanding, masking, and cleaning—ensuring zero dust, dirt, or debris before paint
- Mix and apply OEM-spec paints, primers, and clearcoats in our state-of-the-art paint booth
- Perform quality inspections at each stage to detect and correct imperfections (specks, orange peel, runs)
- Wet-sand, buff, and polish finished panels to achieve a showroom-quality gloss
- Help with metal fabrication, welding, and minor dent repair as needed
- Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean, organized, and compliant with all safety protocols
What We’re Looking For
- Hands-on experience in an automotive collision or bodyshop environment
- In-depth knowledge of OEM paint systems and tint-matching processes
- Meticulous attention to detail—you won’t settle for anything less than a flawless finish
- Own basic bodyshop tools (sanders, applicators, welding helmet, etc.); we supply consumables and paint
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in a booth environment
- Strong teamwork skills and a dedication to maintaining a pristine workspace
