Full Time - Teacher Assistant

We are seeking an energetic, nurturing and hardworking individual for the role of Teacher Assistant at LilyFrog Learning Center in Portsmouth, RI.
Folks in this position are responsible for working in conjunction with the teaching staff in the classrooms with kids ranging from infant to Pre-K.
A Teacher Assistant must be able to provide support to their assigned classroom as needed, engage with children and families in a fun and professional manner, and follow the structure that the classroom teacher has outlined.

- Approx 40 hours per week
- Schedule is roughly Monday-Friday 9:00-5:30pm
- High School Diploma or GED and previous experience with children a must
- CPR/First Aid certification offered
- RIELDS training and Early Childhood Ed credits preferred
- Must pass state required background and health screenings
**Starting salary $18.00 per hour with opportunity for growth based on experience and longevity.
