Position Summary
Coloramo Federal Credit Union is looking for a Community Relations Manager who is responsible for developing partnerships, increasing community engagement, and supporting membership and lending growth. This role represents the credit union within the community, manages strategic relationships, coordinates events and educational programs, and collaborates with internal teams to drive business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, dealers, schools, community organizations, and strategic partners while representing the credit union at community events, networking functions, and outreach activities.
- Plan, coordinate, and participate in community events, sponsorships, financial education programs, and youth-focused initiatives to increase engagement and brand awareness.
- Collaborate with lending and marketing teams to support membership growth, mortgage and indirect lending initiatives, business development efforts, and promotional campaigns.
- Track and report on community activities, partnerships, sponsorships, budgets, and growth metrics, providing recommendations to support organizational goals.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen community relationships, expand outreach efforts, and drive growth.
- Complete additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in business development, community relations, marketing, sales, financial services, or a related field.
- Strong relationship-building, networking, and public speaking skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions
- Primarily office-based with regular attendance at community events and meetings.
- Frequent use of computers, phones, and standard office equipment.
- Occasional travel and light lifting up to 20 pounds.
- Remote or hybrid work may be available based on business needs.
