Duties
- Provide attentive supervision and care for children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
- Implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment, adhering to health and safety standards at all times
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians about children's progress, needs, and daily experiences
- Follow mandated reporting laws to ensure children's safety and well-being are prioritized at all times
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, babysitting, or similar settings
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members
- Understanding of behavior management techniques suitable for young children
- Commitment to creating an inclusive environment that supports diverse learning needs
- Certification in First Aid and CPR (Pediatric First Aid preferred) is a plus
- Familiarity with special education needs and experience working with children with disabilities is a plus
