Job Title: Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN)Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) to join our comprehensive, multidisciplinary cardiac and peripheral services team. Working alongside leading Cardiologists, Interventional Radiologists, and General Surgeons, you will provide top-tier care in a fully equipped, high-volume laboratory.
The ideal candidate is proficient in advanced cardiac monitoring, comfortable with cutting-edge interventional technology, and ready to collaborate across pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure care areas.
Shift & Call Schedule
- Primary Shift: 8-hour day shifts.
- On-Call: Rotating call coverage required during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Procedure Support: Assist with and monitor a wide range of complex procedures, including:
- Left and Right Heart Catheterizations
- PTCA, Stenting, Thrombectomy, and Atherectomy (coronary and peripheral)
- Carotid diagnostics and stenting
- Pacemaker insertions and Tilt Table testing
- Kyphoplasty and AV graft diagnostics, stenting, and thrombectomies
- Patient Monitoring: Maintain high proficiency in monitoring patients using specialized systems, including the Philips Laser System, IVUS, OCT, and various atherectomy devices.
- Stress Testing: Safely monitor and document LEXISCAN Stress Tests.
- Dynamic Rotation: Comfortably rotate between active procedure monitoring, pre- and post-op preparation areas, patient transport, and other clinical support duties as assigned.

Candidate Requirements & QualificationsExperience & Background
- Specialized Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of dedicated Cath Lab experience [Required].
- Travel Competency: Recent travel contract experience is highly preferred.
- Clinical Independence: Ability to work efficiently and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Licensure & Certifications
- RN Licensure: Active, unrestricted State Registered Nurse (RN) license or a multi-state Compact RN license [Required].
- Life Support & Clinical Certifications: Active, verified certifications in hand [Required]:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) through the American Heart Association
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIH / NIHSS) certification
