Job Summary
Kickstart Therapy Network is an outpatient multidisciplinary practice and therapeutic preschool dedicated to providing exceptional care and making an impact in the lives of children and families. We are seeking a passionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. This position is in a clinical setting and includes individual and group treatment, team meetings, community based services and parent communication. Our multidisciplinary team includes occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, mental health clinicians and behavioral specialists (ABA). Collaboration, clinical excellence, and compassion are at the heart of everything we do.
Ideal candidates should be interested in developing their skills in relationship-based and evidence-based practice. We provide extensive training, mentorship and supervision for all therapists, regardless of experience level. This position is ideal for those with experience or interest in working with neurodiverse children with a variety of goal areas including:
Receptive/expressive language skills, articulation, literacy, feeding, phonology, and pragmatics.
Job duties:
- Evaluations, treatment planning and providing targeted therapy to clients.
- Participating in therapeutic preschool and social groups.
- Educating and coaching parents on therapy strategies
- Willingness to work with a variety of children's ages and clinical profiles
