Job Summary
Join our underground telecommunications construction team and play a key role in building and maintaining vital network infrastructure. You will assist with a variety of field construction activities, including material handling, excavation support, cable installation, equipment operation, and site cleanup while following all safety standards.
**This position requires regular travel, including assignments within the state of Iowa and outside of the state, based on project locations and business needs.**
Responsibilities
- Assist with underground telecom construction activities.
- Load and transport materials, tools, and equipment.
- Support trenching, excavation, and conduit installation.
- Install underground cable and network infrastructure.
- Operate hand tools, vehicles, and equipment safely.
- Maintain a safe and organized worksite.
- Communicate with crew members and supervisors.
- Complete daily reports and documentation.
- Assist with site restoration and cleanup.
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Previous experience in construction, underground utilities, telecommunications, or related field is a plus.
- Ability to safely use hand tools and construction equipment.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor environments.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
