Closing Specialist
Full-Time | Monday–Friday
Are you an experienced mortgage or title professional with a passion for accuracy and exceptional customer service? We are seeking a detail-oriented Closing Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will coordinate residential real estate closings from clear-to-close through funding, ensuring all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with company, investor, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate residential mortgage loan closings from scheduling through funding.
- Prepare, review, and verify closing packages for accuracy and completeness.
- Communicate with borrowers, lenders, title companies, attorneys, and internal departments to coordinate closing timelines.
- Review Closing Disclosures (CDs) and closing documentation for compliance with investor and regulatory guidelines.
- Ensure all closing conditions have been satisfied prior to funding.
- Schedule closings and resolve documentation or funding issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate loan files and update internal systems throughout the closing process.
- Work closely with Processing, Underwriting, and Funding teams to ensure timely loan closings.
- Provide exceptional customer service while managing multiple transactions simultaneously.
- Perform post-closing follow-up and additional administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in mortgage closing, title, escrow, or settlement services.
- Working knowledge of the residential mortgage loan closing process.
- Familiarity with Closing Disclosures (CDs), loan documents, and TRID guidelines preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage a high-volume pipeline while meeting deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Experience with Loan Origination Systems (LOS), Encompass, Empower, or title software is a plus.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
