Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and health history documentation using advanced EMR (Electronic Medical Record).
- Administer medications and injections accurately, including IV infusions and medication management following HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques.
- Perform specialized procedures Shockwave and IV infusion.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams with referrals and follow up.
- Assist in triage processes within clinic
- Educate patients and their families on treatment protocols and treatment plan understanding.
Requirements
- Valid nursing license with current registration in the relevant state or jurisdiction.
- Proven experience working with diverse patient populations across settings such as hospital medicine, medical-surgical units, pediatrics, geriatrics, or behavioral health.
- Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems.
- Knowledge of ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding for procedures, laboratory experience, and infection control practices.
- Skilled in performing physical examinations, venipuncture (phlebotomy), IV insertion/infusion therapy, sterile processing techniques, and airway management.
- Strong understanding of nursing standards such as NCQA standards for quality assurance and compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
