Advanced Personnel Resources is seeking an HR Onboarding Coordinator for a new opportunity in Greensboro. The HR Onboarding Coordinator supports day-to-day human resources operations, with a strong focus on new hire onboarding, recordkeeping, and compliance-related tasks. This role helps ensure a smooth employee experience while maintaining accurate records and supporting adherence to company policies and legal requirements.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the full new hire onboarding process, including preparation of offer letters, onboarding paperwork, and orientation scheduling.
- Manage employee files and HR records to ensure completeness, accuracy, and confidentiality.
- Support compliance activities such as I-9 verification, policy acknowledgments, and required training tracking.
- Assist with background checks, pre-employment screenings, and onboarding checklists.
- Respond to employee and manager questions regarding onboarding, benefits, policies, and HR procedures.
- Maintain and update HR systems and databases with employee information and status changes.
- Help monitor completion of mandatory onboarding and compliance documents.
- Support HR projects, audits, payroll preparation, and reporting as needed.
- Manage office supply inventory and placing supply orders.
- Assist in posting jobs and managing company social media content.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of HR, administrative, or onboarding experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of HR practices, employment documentation, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting onboarding in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with employment law, I-9 procedures, and recordkeeping best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
