Job Responsibilities:
Adhere to SMG Technology Corp procedures to perform installations of HDTV, Digital & Analog receivers, DVR, Cable Modems, Voice Over IP and requested services. Pre-wire single unit dwellings in order to provide "ready hook-up" capabilities. Clean, maintain, stock vehicle and equipment in order to be prepared to perform required duties daily. Complete associated paperwork and PDA web completion with each work order in a timely manner in order to ensure all details of the work is recorded for entry in the customer's account once the work is checked in. During the course of normal day-to-day activities: a. Properly operates and maintains installation tools and equipment. b. Report needed vehicle repairs and/or services when required and/or prescribed. c. Report any accidents, losses, injuries or property damage to supervisor/manager and customer when appropriate. Perform other duties as requested by supervisor/manager in order to achieve departmental goals and objectives. Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.
Minimum Requirements:
Operational Competencies
Must be able to utilize tools and equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and/or those identified by SMG Technology Corp.
Ability to use basic cable installation tools and hand tools
Ability to perform job from high places (on poles an roofs)
Knowledge of basic mathematics and Microsoft operating systems
Ability to communicate with customers in a clear and straight forward manner
Ability to work independently, prioritize, organize efficiently, and successfully pass a drug test and background check
Lift 70 lbs
Training/Licenses/Certifications
Valid drivers’ license and satisfactory driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to work overtime, as needed.
