We are looking for a proficient and reliable SOUS Chef with knowledge in all aspects of the kitchen. This will be an in person interview.
Responsibilities
- Prep and prepare all recipes to Chef's specifications
- Assist Executive Chef in any aspect of kitchen management/tasks
- Keep stations clean and sanitized
- Assist with kitchen cleaning/maintenance
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
- Prep and prepare menu items according to the Executive Chefs specifications.
Skills
- Proven working experience as a Sous Chef and or someone who has worked as a line cook, who is ready to take on more responsibility.
- Excellent knife skills
- Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
- Capable of managing multiple tasks
- Excellent Communication Skills
- A "Leader" who leads by example
- Able to handle the kitchen when asked in the Executive Chef's absence.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $21.00 per hour
