Full-Time Nurse Practitioner – Outpatient Internal Medicine & Primary Care

First Docs, LLC is a physician-owned and physician-led medical practice providing comprehensive internal medicine and primary care services throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. We are seeking an experienced, patient-focused Nurse Practitioner to join our growing outpatient team and provide care across our offices in Levittown, PA and Hamilton, NJ.
This is an excellent opportunity for a provider who enjoys developing long-term patient relationships, managing chronic disease, and working collaboratively within a supportive physician-led practice environment.
Position Overview
The Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services to adult and geriatric patients. Responsibilities include preventive care, chronic disease management, transitional care follow-up, and treatment of acute medical conditions. The NP will work closely with supervising physicians and office staff to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing
- Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP, AGNP, ANP, or equivalent)
- Active and unrestricted Pennsylvania and New Jersey licensure (or ability to obtain)
- Active DEA registration
- Minimum one year of primary care, internal medicine, family practice, or geriatric experience preferred
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Strong communication, organizational, and patient engagement skills
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult and geriatric patients
- Perform physical examinations and health assessments
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Develop treatment plans and prescribe medications as appropriate
- Coordinate care with specialists, hospitals, and community providers
- Provide preventive care, wellness counseling, and patient education
- Maintain timely and accurate EMR documentation
- Participate in quality improvement and population health initiatives
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure continuity of care
Schedule & Benefits
- Full-time position
- Monday–Friday schedule
- No weekends, evenings, or major holidays required
- Split coverage between Levittown, PA and Hamilton, NJ offices
