Responsibility as a Senior Project Manager
This role will report to the VP of Professional Services and is slated to be an integral piece to the facilitation of relationships between Red Book Connect and our customers. The Project Manager is responsible for managing the life-cycle of projects from inception until a successful launch in addition to providing a project schedule, maintaining effective communication with both customers and the project team while resolving issues as they arise. An ideal candidate will have experience in an ecommerce environment for an industry focused on delivering mobile technology solutions to restaurants, hotels, and other foodservice providers.

Desired Skills and Experience:
- Build project plans and provide guidance by using industry operational expertise to drive the project in the appropriate direction.
- Manage projects through the entire life-cycle; from conception until successful go-live.
- Be accountable for and report on project results on an ongoing basis
- Work with project sponsor and stakeholders to build and communicate project scope and timeline
- Provide a project schedule.
- Regularly and frequently communicate status and expectations both internally and externally.
- Manage a project issue log and regularly resolve issues and drive solutions to project problems.
- Lead, coach and motivate project team members on a regular and pro-active basis.
- Drive the creation and use of a successful hand-off package for the RBC post-implementation teams to ensure the company is setup for success as the project team rolls off the project.
- Develop and utilize best practice tools for Project Management and Implementation.
- Ensure all customer documents are properly archived and shared across the business for successful knowledge transitions.
- Identify areas for internal process improvements.
- Experienced and comfortable in customer-facing situations.
- Ability to present complex information to individuals and small groups.
- Ability to conduct effective meetings.
- Ability to handle multiple and changing priorities and multiple customers
- Excellent problem-solving skills, particularly with regards to anticipating and solving problems, issues or concerns before they occur or become critical.
- Strong written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of standard Microsoft Project and Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
Experience with the following is a plus:
- Foodservice industry experience.
Qualifications:
- Only Atlanta, GA based candidates will be considered.
- 6+ years of experience in software solutions and life cycle within the retail industry, preferably in QSR
- BS in Management, CIS or Engineering with a Management focus.
